As part of the thrust to make the BOK more appealing and useful to commercial partners and end users, several of us have colluded previously on a readiness model.
The readiness model is a tool to help organisations understand their burning platform or their tropical paradise. It is a tool to help people understand their high level status with respect to BIG principles.
The Principles are long established - having been whittled down to 14 from 90+ suggestions back along.
The Readiness questions - about 5 per principle - were created by @DD @Andrey_Malakhov and I think @Martin_Samphire (memory is fading)
You can find links to the existing XLS based readiness model here - which also includes a background presentation.
As part of the BIG Content revisit:
What would you add / remove change in the principles? Would you like to present your view and challenge other views? We can then make proposals for change. (no one is changing principles at one meeting)
What would you add / remove change in the Readiness Questions? Would you like to present your view and challenge other views?
The idea to have a little polish - and put together an online version of the readiness model for people to access.
Lastly - as you know - the BIG CIC needs a little funding - what should we charge for a readiness report and simple analysis?
Perhaps some people would like to give this a got for their organisations while we take on their viewpoints?
