I’ll look in more detail later - since the second reference is 15 pages of text!
Was this the action on partner agreements from our chat a while ago or is that separate? I assume it was that action and the current situation is a mixture of the document’s expressions of “now” and “next”?
“CIC develops course” creates a tension between CIC and partners in the training space - But I can see that there is a void if not done.
I have some partially completed stuff (I was working on before I went to Prague this week so we’ll return to it next)
It overlaps with the BoK - It’s broader because it links more solidly to PMBoK and PRINCE2/Praxis (P2again) and agile and it’s got slices of “how to” the reach beyond the current BoK - as you know I think the sociology of organisations is crucial to achieving holistic governance that supports delivery of the mission.
I’m definitely ill-disciplined in sticking to BoK vocabulary - as I’ve shown in a number of posts!
AND In the absence of a clear partnering agreement I may provide too much free which will decrease the demand for paid courses.
Maybe this is necessary as a pump priming activity “get it free while demand is cultivated”
I think mixed vocabulary is explicitly required in the real world where people import current practises patchwork to cover the whole of the BIG framework.
The exam development I have done is however rigidly aligned to the book so questions for example are phrased as “According to the bok which term is used for…”
The “now/ next” progression or projection in the documents of ( for example) Exam takers, Community contributors, etc strikes me that it hasn’t happened - nor have the work streams that were behind awareness and promotion had visible activity devoted to them by any of the folk who stood forwards.
I’ll do an update of the ‘who has an ID and when were they last logged into the community if ever’. As I did and circulated to all about 3 weeks ago.
I suggest sending an email after I’ve done that little listing to all of the current people with an identity telling those who have not logged in so far “unused IDs will be removed in 2 weeks if they remain un-used”.
Psychology says people are much more loss averse than they are opportunity seeking! 🙂
I think there’s more to reflect upon but in essence momentum within the core group with a cadence to actions and reporting back to the core to confirm each workstream has anybody awake within it is necessary.
Ciao
