I can speak for myself for why am I developing promoting and promoting BIG - but that I think we need - as you have described is why are WE developing and promoting BIG?
That can be a collection of all our whys so we can then agree what the BIG CIC collated and cleaned version is of that.
I have many ways to express this - but the other day, I was at a session with the ACCA, and there was a discussion about culture and one of the presenters started to describe the necessary capabilities needed in an organisation to achieve purpose. The capabilities were all BIG capabilities. But the presenter did not have a collective noun for them - or a way to collect all the concepts, principles and components neatly together, or a roadmap or any model examples.
I think simple way to reference complex stuff is a good point.
When I asked - have you heard about BIG - all one of the presenters could say that “oh no not another acronym” - to which I retorted - ok - so spend 3 minutes describing all the bits when 15 seconds will do? :-)
