BIG question 1

The vision I had for BIG is that the central core of it was made generic – but that messaging was created to enable people with different perspectives to engage with it – plus – partners would find their own partner spin to emphasise their offerings.
I saw this as the only way to promote BIG – as it is a toolbox that can be applied to many scenarios.

BIG question 1 – is this approach still viable? People may have another approach in mind?

IMHO It was and remains appropriate. However at no point in the past or in the future will it be the only vision, nor the only one to be appropriate.

Every partner selling services, peer organisations promoting bodies of knowledge focused on aspects of the whole and end user organisation will have areas of agreement, extension and rejection.

Bloody well done for putting a straw man up that other people can tilt at 🙂

An old proverb “If you don’t know how to do something just start doing it. Pretty soon 10 people who know less than you do will come along to tell you what you’re doing wrong” 🙂

DD Your initial vision was correct for a BoK under the circumstances, and I agreed with Simon we need to stick with this core approach.
