I had a chat with @DD yesterday

I think we agreed that (clarification or confirmation welcome)

I will align Category Tags on this forum to the colour scheme on page 10 on the presentation in the first post of this thread -
The workstream for Member Outreach Can be gently active immediately. (Major push as detailed on the slide 16 above)
To the end I will start
- emailing those people who have said they will help with work streams
- posting on LinkedIn to raise awareness of membership of the forum.
  
  @DD Will you include in your next newsletter to all CIC members a call to action and a link to this thread (or another suitable thread) or should I mail members?
  Do we have a mailing list handling facility
Partner outreach is on the far side of agreeing the Partner Proposition Proposal which will be posted in draft in this thread
Similar Organisations Outreach is on the far side of tidying up the ‘list of potential organisations to contact’ and then agreeing who will be contact point at the BIG end
Action rests with Dave to confirm when he is happy his list is a fit starting point

In answer to your questions
Do we have a mailing list handling facility - no - at the moment I use a CIC account and manually mail in batches. We have talked about getting a Microsoft Account - but this is not free.
WRT ’list of potential organisations to contact’ - this is in relation to Professional and Partner outreach. - I have shared the link to the data privately - but t now contains a Groups sheet with a braindump of useful LinkedIn groups, possible professional bodies and partners. This is not exhaustive and needs work

In recent sessions, we’ve identified the workstreams below - these are the same ones Simon refers to.

The details are accessible in a read only purpose vision and roadmap here

We need to get them off and running - and ask them to define their own scope and activities (we just need to coordinate)

The General sequence has been developed - image here
It has 4 phases:

Get going - this involves a refresh on the BIG Messaging, and Ideation on revenue streams for the BoK
Prep fro Campaign 1 - looking again at the readiness model, copre presentatin tweak, v1.1 partner model, Exam tweak, launch BIG Merch
Engagement as a set of related activities - for partners, members, public
follow up engagement
next engagement

Oh I have a Microsoft account does that mean somewhere in the middle of it there is a mailing list facility?

With respect to the spreadsheet: yes that reflects my understanding from our conversation - But further Am I right that you felt it needed tidying up before anybody else started to use it 🙂 And this is on your to-do list at some point

Also Re your next batches of comms to the membership - are we going to include some words about the forum or shall I do a mail out to people separately? We agreed the idea of my communicating but I don’t think we determined who was going to do the next comes whether we would duplicate or consolidate?
