That seems to me to be four suggestions for debate that I have made so far 🙂
And / BUT …
… I’m wondering about the theme that you have had running inBIG Purpose, Vision and Goals of whether or not BIG has an evolutionary step to take (?)
Eg is the target to set out
- How to HOLISTICALLY run organisations
or
- How to feed strategy into operations
- Or How to Integrate Governance through our everthing
(the wise decision making type of G~ rather than the bureaucratic checking the rules were followed type)?
And maybe it’s different things for different people at different times?
I think I’d have to say at the moment BIG is a preliminary descriptive framework of most of the factors that need consideration to operate a business across product & change (projects) mostly optimally .
I think BIG is light on topic of tone or culture - the “culture eats strategy for breakfast” bit.
BIG is light on change’s impacts & curation- project is one (minor?) of many strands needed on the change side of strategy and tactics
So I think BIG today could be described as an excellent step on a journey that has a way to go, that some folk are beginning to grasp the breadth of and many don’t yet have that awareness…
